windtalker direction seems off?
Is it my imagination or has the wind direction shown on the windtalker been off by about +90deg for a while now? It regularly shows NE when the wind on launch looks NW in the webcam view. Does a setting need adjusting? Happy to try to help if anyone can provide instructions on what to do to fix it. Thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving!! -Zoe

It is not your imagination.... 😉
The fix involves a couple people.... and a consistant wind direction.... prefferably North West straight in.
The pole (that holds the weather station) needs to be loosened... and then spun/rotated...until the reading is North West (corresponding to the real wind).
(At least that's how we used to fix it.... )

Thanks for the info Paul. What tools are required -- will a channel locks, a few vice grips, and a multi-tool be enough? We can throw those in the truck and next time we're there we'll have a go at it unless someone else gets to it first. Best, Zoe
