Greylock this weekend?
Anybody else planning to answer Gary's call to Greylock? It's actually looking better for Sunday now, so I'll go up to arrive saturday afternoon to look at the current LZ, camp at Gary's, maybe get in an evening flight then look forward to a good sunday flight.
I was noodling Sunday, but coming up Saturday evening is not a bad idea, it's a lot of driving for one day.
got to Gary's saturday afternoon - went up and I thought it was fine be he thought it was too strong. Did not consider it expeditious to contradict the host, so didn't push the issue. The next morning we saw a wide swath of rain not far to the south. didn't look like it would get closer except by development as the sun rose, so bailed and drove all the way to Jack's mountain in central PA to launch a couple H2's into sled conditions. So it goes.
Bummer. I wish it had worked out better for you, Brian. Flying or no flying, it's a pretty site.
