There will be a ROAD and LAUNCH work party on SATURDAY... May 13th. We need Bodies !!! Bring rakes, shovels, chain saws, weed-eaters, clippers, tractors, anything... etc. Start time is 9:00 AM up at launch. The more people who show.... the more improvements we can make to the site in the day !!!!
The work party will meet 11 AM at Mountain Wings. The main objective is to stain the ramp on Greg's launch. Three people are needed to help move a generator from Tim's truck so it can be used in the staining process. Additional hands can help to clear vegetation. If six or more people come to the work party, Rick will take some people to do some quick road maintenance work on the road to Tony's launch.
It's that time fellow Flyers - Time to invest a little time into the ever improving Road to Launch. Mark your calendars. It's Sat July 20th, 8am at the West Launch(please park up top in the training hill area, or down the bottom if you are late.) We hope to fix the road at the West launch, finish off the parking area, clean and reset rubber diverters, and clean coverts and fill a few potholes. We the club will be buying one load of material to add to the one we have - more if we get donations. If you like what we've accomplished, and have the means, please consider sending $. Mostly though we need your sweat. So come one, come all, many hands make light work and more fun.
