Treasury: $3506. Gas money for one more mow still outstanding.
Road Work: Kenny did a survey – a bit beat up until the first turn. Not worth doing much this year. Maybe just clean up road launch a bit. May need some more diverters. State has smoothed out the jump onto 52. Maybe do work party before the Dec 3 party to fill potholes and do road launch as well?
USHPA Report: some controversy about candidates taking out a full page ad in the magazine, and somehow got the membership emails. Next meeting Friday Nov 11, special session open to all as a zoom meeting.
Website: Mike would like to develop automated USHPA checks for membership. He’s also working on the Connecticut website.
Land Purchase – county has approved the subdivision, but will still take weeks before it’s official. We have 16 acres with the old training hill forming the upper corner. 50 feet right of way for road. Next step is subdividing the LZ: there will be flood zone issues. Will need to research rezoning to save taxes. Christmas Party – At Dec 3 meeting we will talk about the Christmas party. Both may be at The Paper Mill (the old White Wolf). Elections will also need to happen.
Flying Activities: Wellfleet is open, this weekend is looking nice and east, though probably best for PG. New crop of PG pilots, including Jimmy D. Paco is taking them to training hills, etc.
Winter: plan things like parachute repack around the January party.
NOTE: Greg Black had his mower deck fall on his leg, was hospitalized but is now recovering at his shop.
