USPHA Report:

  • TreeToppers conflict ongoing, trying to keep school next door from landing in field without insurance.
  • Training platform for PG: students can sign into website and it has all training materials and tests. Not mandatory but a nice tool for a reasonable cost to student. Matt Tabor working on similar platform for HG.
  • Some sites need much higher insurance (mainly ski areas), working that out.

• Tim Curran led a work party that filled in many potholes in the road, cleaned out rain sluices, etc. Rick and Dave Hopkins did extra work afterwards.

• Tim is planning a work party on Greg’s Launch, will post on website.

Flying Report from Rick Fitz: Lots of weekend flying, Tom Galvin stopped by on weekday on his way to Kitty Hawk. King Mountain champion passed through and flew the hell out Ellenville. Ricardo is the air hog of the month. He flew to the airport (landing in a combo air and car show), and flew TWO more times after that.

The wind turbine is back. So the windsock camera is back!
