DESCRIPTION:🎉 Labor Day Weekend and the Brace 50th Anniversary Party 🎉 \n\n\n\nThe club at Mount Brace is planning planning for Saturday August 31 as the party day with Sunday Sept 1 as the rain day. We’ll confirm when we get a read on the weather. \n\n\n\nHopefully the weather will work for some flying. Even if there’s no flying it would be cute to get a group together\, drag a few bottles of sparkling cider up to launch\, and toast the mountain! Specific meeting times for going up to launch will be coordinated later. \n\n\n\nFamilies\, friends\, and guests are all welcomed. Please share this invite with your community. \n\n\n\nAnyone who is a current USHPA member with an appropriate rating and a signed waiver would be welcome to fly. Membership dues will be waived. \n\n\n\nThere will be a BBQ dinner starting around 6:30pm. Donations will be requested to offset the cost. \n\n\n\nBring your own beverages (unless someone is feeling flush and wants to contribute a keg of beer!) \n\n\n\nWhen it gets dark we’ll have a bonfire and movies in the outdoor theater including John McNeely’s 16mm footage of Brace\, Ellenville\, Talcott\, etc from back in the day. Bring a lawn chair. \n\n\n\nIf you plan come please let any Brace Mountain officer know directly so we can get a head count for food planning. \n\n\n\nMt. Brace Club (mtbraceclub.com)
